What are your service times?
We have a Spanish-language service at 9:30am and a contemporary English service at 11:00am each Sunday.
What kind of preaching can I expect?
Practical, contemporary, relevant, Bible-based preaching presented in an easy-to-understand manner.
How do I get there?
Waves of Faith is located at 110 E. Felix St. South Suite 200 76115 in Fort Worth, Texas about 7 minutes south of downtown off of I-35W. Exit Felix, go west, turn left on E. Felix St. South and we are right behind the Bazaar.
What kind of music do you play?
Very contemporary praise and worship music. Stuff from Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, ORU Worship, etc.
Do you have “live” music?
We are blessed to have two full praise and worship teams that play every Sunday.
How long have you been around?
Waves of Faith was founded in 2000.
Why is your church in a converted warehouse?
The size or type of building aren’t what make a church a church, it’s the people.
What’s your denominational affiliation?
We are involved with the Tarrant Baptist Association on a local level but in no way would be described as a traditional Baptist church.
What if I don’t have a Bible?
Don’t worry about it. All of the relevant scriptures are printed on the outline for you to read, research, and review. If you do have a Bible then we encourage you to use it along side your outline to read the text in its full context.
What if I’ve never been to church before?
That doesn’t matter at all. Waves of Faith welcomes everyone the same regardless of their background or where they are in life.
Am I too messed up for your church?
There’s no such thing. We all have messed up in some point in our life. Just like a hospital isn’t for well people, church isn’t for perfect people.
What's the average age at WOF?
Overall we are a "younger" church with the average age being somewhere in the early to mid-30's.
Ok, I'm 25 and single, is there anything at WOF for me?
Waves of Faith has a very active singles ministry. This group spends a lot of time together doing a variety of things from prayer, small groups, ministry projects, fellowship, and even on occasion, hanging out. Make sure to check out our upcoming events to see what the singles have planned next.
